C19 - Cocoon Nebula

Caldwell 19 (NGC 5146) also known as the Cocoon Nebula is a diffuse nebula located within the constellation Cygnus.

C19 is best viewed during Fall, is magnitude 7.2*, and can be viewed with binoculars. It is 12 x 12' in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
