Caldwell 74 (NGC 3132) also known as the Eight Burst Nebula is a planetary nebula located within the constellation Vela.

C74 is best viewed during Spring, is magnitude 9.4*, and can be viewed with large binoculars. It is 0.8' in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
