Caldwell 100 also known as the Lambda Centauri is a open cluster located within the constellation Centaurus.

C100 is best viewed during Spring, is magnitude 4.5*, and can be viewed with naked eye. It is 15' in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
