C27 - Crescent Nebula

Caldwell 27 (NGC 6888) also known as the Crescent Nebula is a diffuse nebula located within the constellation Cygnus.

C27 is best viewed during Fall, is magnitude 7.4*, and can be viewed with binoculars. It is 20 x 10' in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
